The 21 m high observation tower was built in 2015 on the 916 m high Inselsberg from a former tower for the radio relay network. This tower offers a fantastic 360° view from the "Großer Inselsberg" over a very large part of the Thuringian Forest. With good visibility you can even see the Brocken, the highest mountain of the Harz. How the visibility is just on the Great Inselsberg, can be seen with the webcam.
