Welcome to the Thuringian Forest: In Bad Tabarz, at the foot of the 916-metre-high Inselberg, you’ll find our ‘Malvenhaus’, which offers two peaceful and comfortable holiday flats. The German Tourism Association has awarded the Malvenhaus a four-star rating.
Both flats measure around 85 square metres. The top-floor flat, with views of the mountains, can accommodate up to four adults and one small child. The ground-floor flat can also accommodate up to four adults and one small child.
The large garden, with its mature trees, is the perfect place to relax, play and have a barbecue. The forest, ideal for walking, cycling or mushroom picking, is just five minutes away. In winter, the Rennsteig and the surrounding area offer excellent cross-country skiing conditions with groomed trails.
Bad Tabarz lies within the triangle formed by the former royal seat of Gotha, Eisenach (home to Wartburg Castle) and the half-timbered town of Schmalkalden. Erfurt and the ‘City of the Classics’, Weimar, are easily accessible by car and train.
